The lotus
A pink lotus blooms above the door with its petals open. It has been waiting all morning for someone to look up.
The steaming bowl
A wide bowl sits by the garden with a little steam curling up. Its steam is shaped like a question you do not need to answer today.
The big leaf
A broad green leaf sways on a gentle breeze, going exactly as fast as it wants. Nobody has ever caught it rushing.
The still pool
A round pool of still water rests by the door, with soft rings that travel out and come back a little slower than they left.
The rising steam
Soft wisps of steam rise from the top of the spa, as if the whole building is taking a slow breath.
